about Georgelis Law Firm

Anthony M. Georgelis, Esquire

Anthony M. GeorgelisA Lancaster County native, Anthony "Tony" Georgelis has been legally representing the residents of Central Pennsylvania for over 12 years. Tony graduated from Hempfield High School and the University of Richmond with an undergraduate degree in Political Science. Upon earning his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Tony returned to Lancaster to serve his community in the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, where he practiced before the bench on which his father, the Honorable Michael A. Georgelis, served.

During his four years in the DA's office, Tony was Director of the Child Abuse Prosecution Unit, handling all cases arising from the physical and sexual abuse of children. He successfully tried numerous cases, working hard to punish those hurting the children of Lancaster's community, and, in the process, gaining valuable trial and courtroom experience.

For the past eight years, Tony has concentrated his practice exclusively in workers compensation, auto accident and personal injury law, dedicating himself to helping a different kind of victim--those who have been injured on the job or due to an accident. In April of 2005, he opened Georgelis Law Firm, P.C., deciding to create a firm that only handles the work about which he is most passionate. Tony's commitment to the local community and personal investment in every case help ensure that each client feels like they are the firm's only client.

Following his schooling, Bill served as the law clerk to the Honorable Michael A. Georgelis, President Judge of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. While working for an insurance company during law school and a hospital system following his clerkship, he realized that injured victims deserve the best possible legal representation. Thus, he joined Georgelis Law Firm, P.C. in February 2006 to fight for the rights of those who have been hurt on the job or due to motor vehicle or other accidents.
